Question 7: What are your New Years Resolutions?
1. I will lose my baby weight. To do this I will eat smaller portions and fewer sweets. I will exercise five hours weekly.
2. I will be strengthened in my faith. To do this I will read my Bible daily, and pray more.
3. As a family, we will eat out only once per week. To do this I will plan more meals and make savable things in advance.
4. I will figure out what I want to do with my life. I have no idea how to do this, if anyone has any tips, please let me know.

6: Most Important thing in 2008 for America
Question 6: In keeping with our Happy New Year Theme, today’s question is: What is the most important thing to happen in 2008 for America?
The most important thing to happen in 2008 for America has been the credit crisis. The election was definitely important, but the credit crisis will have a much more long lasting effect on how the country functions as a whole. The American mindset has become “buy now, pay later” and it is this mindset that has landed us in the situation that we now find ourselves. If nothing else good comes out of this crisis, I think it will force banks and credit card companies to be more careful about whom they give credit and how much credit they extend.

Happy New Year!
And, we’re back! After taking a couple weeks off for Christmas Exactly 100 is back, to ask more questions. I think that one of the things we are going to start doing, is a weekly theme and then all of the questions will build upon that theme. This weeks theme will be Happy New Year!
Question Five: What was the most important thing that happened to you, personally in 2008?
On April 2, 2008 my son entered the world at nine pounds, nine ounces. Prior to that, my husband and I were as prepared as we could be, but truly nothing could prepare you completely for being responsible for a tiny little, helpless life. At over nine pounds, Joe V was never super tiny, but he was more helpless than we could have ever imagined. Learning how to love (yes, we had to learn how to love him) and take care of our son has been harder than we anticipated, but also more rewarding than anything we have ever done.
